Harlequin Manufacturing are recruiting a highly motivated, enthusiastic biological process scientist/engineer to join their dynamic wastewater design team.

Harlequin Manufacturing are better known for their range of oil and diesel storage tanks, where we are the second largest supplier of these products in the UK. The position is based in Moira, Co. Down with some travel to external sites. This role is initially assigned to a development project for one year from research to design stage, testing and commissioning. Subsequently the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and interface with design team, sales team and clients.

The biological process scientist/engineer will be part of the onsite engineering design team providing process, technical solutions for new and existing systems and products.

Responsibilities include;

  • Perform laboratory and data analysis and make informed decisions/recommendations around conclusions reached from data analysis.
  • Develop and aid in the design basis for upgrades to the plant/equipment with the engineering design team.
  • Provide process optimisation and site support.
  • Develop and maintain all documentation relating to the project.
  • Organise project meeting and present progress reports at those meetings

The successful candidate will receive an opportunity to develop relevant technical skills within their area of expertise and develop their skills in project management and execution.
