Farm Relief based in Raphoe, Co. Donegal have been operating and serving the local farming community since 1982. In recent years, the company has grown in size and its service offerings, now offering a range of products and services for business to business and the public.

  • They supply a range of general and specialised services to the farming community including scanning, freeze branding, relief milking and general labour
  • As well as their services the company also supplies a wide variety of fencing and farm related products available both direct to customers and business to business through online sales and their direct storefront in Raphoe, Co. Donegal
  • They offer a specialised service in which they fit fencing systems suitable for sports, schools, high security, data centres, farm, and residential projects

Farm Relief now in a stage of growth is seeking an IT and Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. This role requires someone with knowledge of implementing IT systems and software into teams combined with an acumen for Business Development. The role requires a proactive individual who can manage responsibility and communicate change.

They will have a keen knowledge of IT systems and software packages and will have experience with financial, CRM and accounts packages.

The individual will bring their expertise to the role to plan, develop and integrate a new IT strategy. Develop policies. Integrate software toolsets, link data, and set up infrastructures and to improve processes throughout the business.

The role requires a good business development acumen the candidate should have the ability to write documentation including, IT strategies, polices, tender documentation, editorials for publications. Other business development responsibilities may include, aiding in assessing new applicants and research new products or services for the business.

The candidate will combine these skills sets in developing the IT strategy to ensure the company can manage existing services they offer, develop them further, improve their marketing and communication and aid the company in its goals.
